New HSI Driving Committee

A general meeting of the subscribers to the HSI Driving Section was held on Sat last at Abbeyleix.

The main purpose of the meeting was to elect a new committee for the HSI Driving Section.

There was a very lively discussion amongst the small attendance concerning representation on the committee for the various interests other than competition driving - i.e that show drivers and non drivers should be adequately represented.

There were nine nominations for the six places on the committee and after a vote the following committee was elected.

Folke Rohrssen (Pair Driver) - Chairman

Poona Mc Nally (Single and tandem driver)

Annie O’ Shea (Non Driver)

Sarah Mullins (Outgoing chairman)

Paddy Hanly (Team driver and showing enthusiast)

Ger Hennessy (Pair driver)

 

The first meeting of the new committee will take place on Wed next 25th Feb.
