A total of 6 horses have been spun out in the vet check  from the following drivers:

Fritz Stenitzer…AUT

Hans Henrik Nielson…DEN

Edwin Bryson…IRL

Daniel Wüthrich…SUI

Miroslav Matuska…SVK

Zolt Selyben…HUN.

All in all 10 horses had been put into the ‘Holding Box’

Bad news for Irish Team-

Edwin’s horse BRAVO has been  rejected at the Veterinary Inspection.

All other Irish horses through OK.

Bravo had shown no obvious signs of lameness and  had no recent injuries. He had been driven yesterday without incident. However the judges noticed some slight irregularity and he has been spun.

While both Barry and Folke have spare horses, Edwin travelled with just the two, Bravo and Bravado.

As well as being a huge blow to Edwin & Lewis this also makes the job of getting a good team result extremely difficult for the two remaining team members.

Edwins tremendous ability, in the marathon and cones phases especially, will be missed.
