After winning the cones, Barry Capstick notched up yet another UK National win at Erdigg. This is his 4th win of the season in the Advanced Horse Pairs Class.

Sinead drove a spectacular cones round with only one cone down, within the time to finish 5th overall.

Saturday

Barry is in the lead by 7 penalties after driving a good marathon.

Sinead also drove a good marathon and but for an error of course on section A would be well in contention.

Friday

Two drivers are representing Ireland at the UK National in Erddig, Wales this weekend  -

After day1 on fri both had a good dressage although Barry did encur additional Judges penalties due to having a groomdown to deal with ‘a  tongue over the bit’.

Nevertheless he is lying second after dressage, less than 2 penalties behind the leader.

Sinead, who has recently been added to the HSI Pony Development Squad,  had a great dressage with a score of 47.3. The class is being led by Di Hayes on 37 penalties.
