The Northern Ireland Carriage Driving Association (NICDA) organises carriage driving trials in  Northern Ireland. NICDA is affiliated to the British Horse Driving Trials Association.

Carriage driving trials is an all island sport and NICDA members  support and compete in driving competitions organised in in the Republic of Ireland by CDI.

Irish National teams for international competitions and championships are selected from both CDI and NICDA members.
